This diet is based in a very low carb proportion, a moderate protein amount and a high percent of fat. There are many theories and opinions, but we recomend a 60-65% of fat, 20-25% of protein and 10-15% of carbohydrates. Most of that carbs must come from vegetables, legumes and tubers. This is a sugar free diet.

When you dont eat enough carbohydrates, you can’t burn them to get energy, so your body needs to get that energy from somewhere else. The next energy station is FAT.
Our body metabolize fat, and it is more efficient:
1 gr carb = 4 cal
1 gr fat = 9 cal
It requires an adaptation time, but the low carb ketogenic diet can educate your metabolism to use fat as main energy source.
Obviously, this diet have pros and cons, but unlike the popular belief, is not an unhealthy diet if you do it properly and under medical supervision. And it is a real fat burn machine.
You can eat delicious and tasty food, while you are burning fat and losing weight. There are many foodstuffs than are full of flavour, and can be mixed in delightful recipes, that fit in your ketogenic diet.
This website will try (and will succeed) to show you a new way to eat, against the traditional way, but healthy anyways. Eating your favourite meat, cheese, vegetables, nuts, fish, dairy food and a very long list. I’ll just ask you to stay away from pasta, rice, some fruits, sugar, bread, sweets, cakes…carbohydrates in general.
